Oliver Ring is a cellist based in Logan Square, Chicago. A native of the DC-area, he grew up playing cello in his school orchestras and in the DC Youth Orchestra Program. He received his Bachelor of Arts from William and Mary in 2020 with a major in anthropology and a minor in music. In 2021 Oliver joined the Chamber Music Program at the University of Chicago, where he played with a string quartet for two years.
Oliver is an enthusiastic musician who also plays the piano, guitar, ukulele, and oboe. In his free time he likes to write, spend time with his cats, and walk around the city.
Oliver offers cello lessons at the following rates:
30 minute lesson – $20
45 minute lesson – $30
60 minute lesson – $40
The first lesson is free. Payment is due at each lesson, payable by cash, check, or venmo. Lessons are available on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis.
